Dreams

Day dreams are goals.

Night dreams are conflict resolutions.

I have used both

To enjoy some magnificent adventures.

starting with

My trip to Europe

with my Girl Scout Troop at age sixteen.

I worked to earn the money for it.

Which was a life lesson gift.

My love of travel was a day dream.

So I  made it come to pass

by my work in the Travel Industry.

My dream to take a trip around the world

was a day dream that came to pass in 1999.

My dream to become an artist was both day and night dreams.

They came to pass while living in France.

The conflict resolution  was to get a separate life.

I got one as an artist

And have continued  from that time on.

I  thank my French husband for inadvertently

pushing me away and into the visual arts.

That was  a true gift.

I first exhibited my work  at the

Grand Palais in Paris in the 1990s.

My unfulfilled dream,

As yet is

To take a trip to India.

Let it be.

  1. Dear Janet, I am so honored. Please imagine my surprise and happiness.
    Thank you very much!
I admire your art deeply. I wish that both your day and night dreams would come true, as much as you wish for. I am glad that your night-dreams have resolved the conflicts. I am happy that you have fulfilled one of your day-dreams. I wish for many more to come. Qui ne veulent pas un mari français? 🙂 Mais, seulement pour un certain temps.
You inspire me more… Thank you very much.

    1. I totally agree with your sentiments about un mari francais. He even paid my entry for the Salon Des Independants which put me on the map artistically speaking. I am so glad that we inspire each other.

  2. That’s very generous of him. I am glad for the help and constructive effort he has put in your life earlier. I am sorry if I may define something wrong, but I am also glad for what you have experienced so far. Because that is why you are here at janetbrugosart, spreading the love and inspiration to the world. That is why I had been fortunate to have met you. Thank you for being you.
